Claret Stat: Chris who comes from the other side of the M65, is a central defender with some considerable class, he is big strong composed and has an excellent vision when it comesto reading the game, already has been handed the captaincy on occasions of the reserve side, Owen must see promise in this young lad. He also along with Alex-Ray and "Scorer" have been with the Burnley set up since the tender age of 9, working his way up from the centre of Excellence..

August 21st 2009 Burnley announced that Chris and second year professional Adam Kay were to join Blue Square Conference side Chester City untill January 2010

After a season working with Ashley Hoskin in the Development squad, where Chris and the team finished second behind Preston North End in the division.

May 2011 and Chris Lynch amongst others was released by Burnley boss Eddie Howe, unfortunately Chris never played a fist team game for the Clarets.
