Claret Stats: 4 Appearances No Goals International Honours: None Claret Honours: None Claret Stat:Another one of John Bonds signings which didn't work out, Kevin was offered a contract at Burnley after impressing John Bond while in opposition to Burnley in an FA Cup tie in 1984, he was playing as a forward for Hyde United. He came to Burnley but only managed just four appearances, the first in his natural position on the right of midfield, but after Bond (who didn't turn up to the last few matches of the 83/84 season!), Glendon was switched to left back in place of Willie Donachie. Kevin Glendon was released ot the end of the season where he dropped into non-league soccer. He later returned to Turf Moor working with Burnley in the 'Football in the community program'. |
