Name: Andrew Alexander Cole D.O.B: 15th October 1971 Previous Clubs: Fulham, Arsenal, Manchester United, Bristol City, Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Birmingham City(loan), Burnley(loan), Fulham(Loan) Position: Striker Andrew Cole joined Burnley on loan from Sunderland ,the former England international was seen as surplus to requirements at the Stadium of Light .He signed for Burnley for one reason "To play first team football" .And that he did making his debut as substitute away at West Brom his quality was there for all to see.
Andrew Cole started eight games in a Burnley shirt being used as a substitute on a further five occasions ,he netted six goals in those thirteen appearances . Two things will put Andrew Cole in Burnley folklore history, the fantastic Hat-Trick away to QPR, and the last time seen in a claret shirt was chasing Cardiff captain Darren Purse off the pitch and down the tunnel after the last game of the 2007-08 season. A fantastic servant to football, and another true great to wear the Claret and Blue of Burnley.
