After playing nine times for Southend scoring on three occasions, he returned to the Boylan Ground, making his Premier League debut just two months later coming off the bench against West Bromwich Albion. April 4th 2009, Junior made his first start for the Premiership club, against Sunderland and duly scored in the 2-0 win. In total Junior played 47 times in the Claret and Blue of West Ham United scoring on 8 occasions (5 in the League and a further 3 in the League Cup). with 9 appearances in Southend colours scoring those 3 goals. Stanislas has also received International recognition representing England in U19, U20 and U 21 teams the last call up was by Stuart Pearce in the friendly international against Holland in August 2009. He was also called up for the squad for the 2011 Qualifiers against Macedonia and Greece, but unfortunately never played. Eddie Howe signed Junior on the final day of the transfer window (Aug 2011), when he came in for a fee of £300.000 seen as a younger, hungrier version of outgoing winger Wade Elliott who was transferred to Birmingham City on the same day. Junior will become Eddie Howes' seventh signing of a very busy summer, Junior made his Clarets debut at Turf Moor when he came off the bench in the 2-0 defeat to Middlesbrough. Burnley Fans have yet to see the best of Stanislas, a winger with immense skill with quality in abundance, but as most tricky wingers his work-rate seems to be a little on the low side, a very frustrating player. But a player Howe and Burnley must persevere with. Junior started 25 times, with 7 further coming from the bench has no goals to show for his endeavor.
