He was in the 2007/08 youth side which won th e Youth Cup, also in the side was Ben Mee and Daniel Sturridge.

In 2010 Trippier joined Championship outfit Barnsley on a three month loan deal where Trippier made three starts, making his league debut away at Middlesborough.

The following season 2010/11 Tripper went back to Oakwell where he played almost 40 times scoring twice, both 25 yard free kicks both against Barnsley's yorkshire rivals, Leeds united and Doncaster Rovers.

Tripper is a current England U21 International, after representing England at U18, U19 & U20 levels, in 2009 Trippier played twice in the U20 World cup finals.

Kieran became Eddie Howes second summer signing and is seen as a direct replacement for the Bolton bound Tyrone Mears.

In January 2012 fresh from a Player Of The Month nomination, Kieran beacme a full time Claret when manager Eddie Howe paid an undiclosed fee for the right back, who with his exceptional performances for the Clarets has well and truely won over the Clarets faithfull. Keiran also scored his first goal for the Clarets when he netted the winner at Brighton in a 1-0 victory).

Trippier colected the official Player Of The Year award in his first season as a Claret, and Burnley fans were unsure if Tyrone Mears could be replaced! Trippier has been the most consistant Claret this season, overall he started 50 games scoring 4 goals, and made countless others as his all around team play is up there with the best rightbacks the club has seen for many a year.

Its now up to Burnley to lock up our Player Of The Season as a number of Premiership clubs are sniffing like vultures.
