Clarets stats: Ben Mee came through the acadamy at Manchester City, he was the victorious captain as Manchester Citys Acadamy squad won the 2008 youth cup.

In the summer of 2010 City boss Roberto Mancini inclued Ben in the squad that toured the USA, Mee played against Portland Timbers and New York Red Bulls.

In September 2010, Ben made his Manchester City debut in the Carling cup defeat(1-2) against West Bromwich Albion At the Hawthorns, alongside Mee another City player with Burnley connections John Guidetti  made his City bow.

On new years day Mee made the loan switch to Leicester City where former England boss Sven-Göran Eriksson was the man in charge. Mee made 15 appearances for the Foxes and became a true crowd favorite.

Ben is a current England U21 International after representing his country in U19 & U20 levels.

Eddie Howe signed Mee on a season long loan in July 2011, and will be in contention for a first team place from the off after impressing in the friendly defeat against Bristol Rovers.

Ben followed Keiran Trippier in signing on a permenant basis with Burnley, the fee again was undisclosed when Ben put pen to paper on a three and a half year deal.
