Marvin who played under current Clarets boss Eddie Howe at Dean Court, signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Turf Moor on transfer deadline day 2011.
Bartley joined Bournemouth at the start of the 2007/08 season from non-league Hampton & Richmond, following spells with Hayes and Didcot Town. The Reading-born midfielder, a former schoolboy sprinter, began his career at his home-town club before moving to Burnham, where he played alongside his two brothers. After joining the Cherries, he quickly became been a mainstay of the side under Howe, making over 130 appearances and earning a new contract during the 2009-10 campaign as Bournemouth won promotion to League One. Marvin made his Clarets bow as a substitute in the 3-1 away win at Watford, he came on with the game won in the 91st minute.
